Please note, I am new here
I remember one time in 2017 when coming onto Cartoon Network that there were widescreen HD airings of Tom and Jerry. After a bit of searching, I found a post on a fourm in 2013 stating that they saw widescreen HD airings of Looney Tunes, Ed, Edd 'n Eddy and Tom and Jerry. This is to be honest kinda cool since they are restoring their old cartoons to be higher quality, but not in the best form. I know for a fact that this is a thing. Maybe it is possible when some older show air again (which they air periodically) that someone could record and rip it.

Only the theatrical looney tunes and Tom & Jerry would have been produced in widescreen if Im not mistaken. No idea about the CN originals like Ed, Edd, n Eddy though, its possible or they might be stretching the picture a bit for a faux widescreen effect.

I remember CN Schedule Archive getting pretty pissed about the widescreen airings of EENE for this sort of thing
"oooh, you're a- a freaked out child in the woods..."
