Nickelodeon fruit snacks from 2002 were the stuff. There was also a Nickelodeon candy from 2004ish featuring SpongeBob, and FOP's Cosmo & Wanda called "Slime dunk" or something like that.
THIS GAME WAS MY CHILDHOOD: The campaign was spectacular in scale, the matchmaking was diverse and competitive, and forge maps allowed custom games of an epic proportion for the X360. Good times

Halo 3 was everything to me when I was young. Of course, there are a lot more games, but that was probably the first Xbox game I played. In fact, I can't figure out the first game I played. It was either SMB, Tetris, or Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons, all for GameBoy color.
Remember the early days of YouTube when this song played on every goddamn video? m.youtube.com/watch?v=BJk6gZuPKRE Not complaining tho. It's pretty nice
"oooh, you're a- a freaked out child in the woods..."
When you say Halo 3 is your childhood, I feel old...
What games were my childhood? Well... for instance...
But I doubt gamers nowadays wouldn't be interested in these, anyway...
It seems I am doomed to only love what is obscure...
Well... older childhood. Haha, I guess I am younger than many people on this forum.
Interesting choice! Those older PC puzzle games are fascinating, their pixelated art style and command line interface have a very retro feel to them. I did play some more obscure games in my childhood, such as Jasper's Journey and Zoo Tycoon. I chose Halo 3 because it left more of an impact and more people know about it.

To be completely honest, I only know the games from the fact that it's the few games that can switch graphic modes on IBM PC on the fly, and the music. Eeeh. www.youtube.com/watch?v=fIF8-yMkBaU

Yeah, but I mean it wasn't that long ago. Perhaps some people are prematurely sentimental lol.
I'm feeling nostalgic about when I tried to make a page for Cracks at Muppet Wiki and they were having none of that, lol. It's almost like there is a centrifugal force around the short that even the people at Muppet Wiki want to forget it exists lol.

Why would you only know that??
Because PC speaker is all my old potato Windows XP PC runs in old DOS games.
Because PC speaker is all my old potato Windows XP PC runs in old DOS games.
Hahaha! I know that feeling.
When I was in my early teens, I would try to run old DOS games on my Windows 98 computer and I could only get music and sounds through PC Speaker. It was very loud and annoying to anyone else who was in the room.
But when I tried to run the game on someone else's computer, the sound and music would work MUCH better. It was so unfair, lol.

It also runs Lemmings in CGA trial mode and in full version VGA, but when it runs Doom, the PC speaker sounds sound fine, but the MIDI sounds like someone translating Ricky McCormick's encrypted notes into music notes, leading it to one cacophony of rock Midi guitars, with it sometimes trying to become e1m1, but then gets eaten by the cacophony. Here's a sum up on what it sounds like: www.youtube.com/watch?v=OI12BGneREY

Midi? HA! You should try Roland MT-32! Now, that's an experience!
