What is the most nostalgic thing you can think of?
Mine is some of the shows from the 90's era of CN, Nick, Disney Channel, and old animes.
I have hacked into the government data base, and here's what it said. Iguanas are actually controlled by goldfish. You see, when they are very young, they eat a goldfish, but the goldfish stretches their fins to the top of the iguanas brain and transports their brain through their fins to the iguanas brain and take control over it.
Alvin and the Chipmunks is possibly my number one nostalgic cartoon. Loved to catch episodes of the 1980s animated series. I LOVED the Chipmunk Adventure movie. Would take it anytime over the CGI-live-action recent movies.
Jetsons: The Movie! The movie might not be really that great, but I loved the Jetsons aesthetics/concept as a kid, and it has a killer soundtrack!
The Garfield and Friends cartoon. "Eat, Garfield, eat! Eat with all your might!" "Banana nose! Banana nose!" Even as I watch it again, it is still very good and is miles above that bland CG "Garfield Show".
I think this is the first movie I ever saw! I still remember the "inside-the-body" imagery... and thanks to this movie, I can never hear the song "I Get Around" without remembering this movie's scenes!! (you'll know what I'm talking about)
There are now dozens of adaptations of The Wind In The Willows. But this 1983 stop-motion movie is the one I grew with. It was wonderful, enchanting. I saw it again as an adult, and it's still good.
An anime movie from 1977. Beautiful. Dramatic. Magical. Watch it.
I had some Duck Tales episodes on VHS... the "Dinosaur" and "Castle" ones as seen up there, and the "Time Teasers" recorded from TV... it was from Malaysian TV, so I remember there were some fruit juice ads with real live rabbits in clothes... *sigh* As a very young kid, I didn't understand why Scrooge and the kids were standing still as the Beagle Boys stole the money, and the money disappeared in flashes... hahaha...
Possibly the best "Asterix" movie! Even as a kid, I was attracted by the atmosphere and strange imagery... As an adult, there are a lot of clever jokes that are still relevant today! Such as the "house that makes you mad"...
I remember watching these things: Scooby Doo, Dragon Ball Z, Spongebob Squarepants (I loved it a lot, even had recorded VHS tapes of it, all which got lost when I was very young ), , Fairly Oddparents, Rugrats and it'd be some sort of a long list if I list them all xD
I loved playing those games so much. Pajama Sam and Putt-Putt were always my favorite (I also liked Freddi Fish, but it was too hard for me to beat at the time, and I never played too much Spy Fox just because I could never find it anywhere). I also loved their different stuff, like the Backyard Sports series. You can buy a collection of virtually all of their games on Steam -- Usually it's $100, but I got it during a sale for like $20 or something. Best purchase of my life.
And to a lesser degree, just a lot of old computer games have that effect on me. I played Nicktoons Racing a lot (at the time I thought I just sucked at it, but when I got older, I came back to it and realized that the controls are so bad it's impossible to get better), and goofed around in Kid Pix all the time (though I'm sure I never made anything of worth). What's funny is that, games like those were outdated compared to what my friends were playing at the time, but our only computer was so horrible that these types of games were all it could run. I remember my friends bringing over games and me disappointedly telling them that they didn't work on my computer, or buying games like Roller Coaster Tycoon at my school book fair and not being able play them until I went to my dad's house (and then the next time I'd come down, all of them would be uninstalled).
There were a lot of movies and TV shows I loved as a kid, but strangely, I don't get much nostalgia from them. I either barely remember them at all or just view them for what they are. I loved Billy & Mandy as a kid, and after many years of forgetting about it I started watching it again recently. It's hilarious, but I don't really feel any nostalgia from it. I have fond memories of playing Sonic Adventure 2, or buying Pokemon VHS tapes from the local thrift shop, but I wouldn't exactly call that nostalgia. Only the computer games give me that feeling. Weird.
EDIT: Oh shit! I just remembered something that still makes me mad. One time, me and my sister both got a PC game each, on the same day. Mine was a Madeline game, hers was probably Barbie or something. Anyways, I installed mine first, and had a good time playing it for about 30 minutes. Then, my sister was bugging me because she wanted to play hers, so I got off and let her do that. But after that, guess what? The Madeline game never worked again, for no reason. That was cool.
EDIT 2: Oh shit! Again! How did I forget about THIS??
Fun point-and-click game based off of SpongeBob, aka the bane of the LMW's existence (though obviously the usual P&C elements have been simplified for a younger audience). I played this so many times that I could LITERALLY write a full walkthrough right now without even opening it up.

Alvin is definitely a nostalgic cartoon to me as well. The CGI films honestly feel like their just trying to cash in on the franchise.
DuckTales is definitely a nostalgic cartoon, too.
Does PBS Kids Count?
yee

They used to sell those in South-East Asia where I lived as a kid, can't find them anymore... I still remember the wizard mascot (Rolupo) on the package.

Oh yes. Ducktales. I forgot about that show.
I rise from the ashes. Only to fall back in again.
The 2017 reboot, on the other hand... doesn't look too nice.
I haven't seen any of it yet. The only thing I know about the reboot is that Rob Renzetti is working on it. Is there a trailer or anything out yet? When was the last good reboot of a cartoon? Is the new Danger Mouse series any good?

There is concept art that has been released, and I think it looks ugly and unappealing. It reminds me of the modern Disney shorts that I refuse to watch because I hate how it looks.
I dislike most modern cartoons' artstyle, especially that stereotypical "CalArts" format...
