I'm putting this in the off-topic section rather than the lost media sections due to, urm, not knowing if it's really lost or not. I can't for the life of me find the name of the show, but entire episodes could be uploaded for all i know.
It was an education show that was broadcast on ABC (Australian Broadcasting Corporation). I'm not sure of the timeslot, due to me being pretty young. I know it was during school hours, and before the news, so probably anywhere between 9am-11:30am. I'm not sure what years it would've aired. I was probably pretty young, so I'm guessing anywhere between 2006-2011 was some of the years it was on.
One of the main parts of the show was that it featured two puppets; while I don't remember they're names, I'm pretty sure they were something like Dick and Dudley. Their design was Jim Henson-ish (they sorta looked like plain backround muppets tbh), but I don't think that they were actually apart of the Jim Henson workshop.
One of the puppets had blue fur, and a yellow nose (this is the one I believe to be Dick); if memory serves me correctly, I think they were also slightly shorter. Dick was almost always grumpy. Their voice was always very deep and gravely. I know he liked to read, and I think he preferred "boring", quiet things. I think it was also shown that while Dudley did annoy him, he felt lonely without them around, and loved them like a friend.
The other puppet was yellow, with a blue nose (this one I believe to be Dudley). They were very energetic, and often annoyed the heck out of Dick. Their voice was pretty high pitched and sorta feminine. They were very energetic, and loved more physical activities (like football).
I think the puppet sections of the show were meant to teach mostly math (adding, dividing, ect). This may be incorrect, but I think it also touched on morals a bit? Stuff like sharing, and not being a jerk.
There were also animated segments that didn't tie into the puppets. They were just like the sorta animations you see on sesame street, like using apples to explain maths. There might've been some real life segments?
I don't remember a lot about the set. I also don't know if this is correct, or if it's mixed with the memory of another ABC show, but I think each episode ended with telling a sort of cat-alien-thing about the math Dick and Dudley had used that episode. It was really odd, even back then I thought so.
I've tried searching a bit on my own, but I've come up with nothing so far. Though I don't have great luck with searches . Does this description sound familiar to anyone?
