When I was in elementary school, we would go to the computer lab to play some educational computer games. I remember there were two games we played quite often. The first one was somewhat like an MS Paint game, with what I think were Red Curtains at the main menu screen. I think there were maybe 5-7 options for the main menu, all for different game modes. The other I remember much more clearly. It was a typing game set in a futuristic city. I remember lots of references to Volvo's were made in the typing segment. The city was situated on an island, somewhat like you would see in the intro of Stargate Atlantis. There was also a gray floating ship. The city served as a main menu screen, with each of the buildings and the ship being used as options.
I really wish I could give more information. If anybody has anything that could help to identify and find these, that would be a great help. Also, if I remember correctly, at the time my school's computers were maybe running off of Window's XP or Vista. Though these two are most likely, it might have also been Window's 7, not sure.
Oh yeah,I think I know what these are. The MS Paint game is probably Kid Pix,and the typing game is definitely All The Right Type. You can find both of these easily enough with a simple online search

YES! Thanks so much for refreshing my memory. Those are exactly the ones. I guess that was an easy find, lol
do you know what that computer game was that you had to choose the pattern and colour of a bird and get it right to give to someone and also on there it had a bird that played the xylophone
Can anyone help me find one I remember? It was very similar to Millie’s Math House, etc style games but it involved several activities such as matching animal halves (which would play a song with all of them once it was complete), doing a maze puzzle to allow water to get to a flower, etc. I believe it was called something like “__zoo” and possibly had more than one game in the series. Possibly one with a Farm as well.
EDIT: I found them. Plumo At The Zoo and Plumo At The Farm.

This is an old thread from 2017, I believe the marking policy wasn't implemented until more recently. Regardless, OP of thread has to do that or a mod since they can change the title of the thread
