(searched the forms and couldn't find anything about it) So its safe to say no episodes have been found on this? The only thing i could find was a couple of screen-grabs and music
I remember this show, but yeah Viacom is Disney's own problem..And it's going and probably is it's own demise.
Though it is worth looking into, from 5 minute to 15 minute episodes is quite a variety.
Was it good?
It was wierd, it was like the post cards with buster. The one I watched was probably a basic 5 minute one but it has the kid(it was a female) talking about what she does in the morning and bear will tell us how it was good to eat an apple every morning and that shit...I do rember one ep had a family of like 8 kids...some adopted.. but I was older like around 10-11 when this came out...so I personaly dident watch it but it was interesting enough to watch it a little bit
I remember bits and pieces of it as well. I can remember him with a little girl and they were hula-hooping. They also ate breakfast and iirc it was a beige-ish house.
Also, has anyone contacted Disney's archives? Or even the Jim Henson Company about it?

We can try.
I rise from the ashes. Only to fall back in again.

Not just the playhouse Disney stuff. Disney does not have any interest in letting these shows leak.

I found the contact info for the Jim Henson Company as well as Disney's offices, gonna give them a call tomorrow about it.
EDIT: Henson Company told me to contact Disney as they own the rights to the show as well as merchandise and distribution. I'll let you know how that goes.
EDIT 2: Just called Disney and was directed to the archives. First time my call dropped, but the second time I was told to email them about any shows, but I left a voicemail just in case.
Apologies for double posting, but I did get ahold of a Disney archives employee. She said that while she herself couldn't tell us anything, the email I sent earlier would get a reply within a few weeks after the archives do some searching. Keep your fingers crossed!

Wow, that's awesome! It's looking up
Just giving an update, have had no reply from Disney about it.
Hello, long-time reader, first-time poster. Finally found something on the boards that could concern me. I watched this show when I was little, so my memory is obviously sketchy. However, I did find this comedy article, on some sort of Muppet fansite, where a guy outlines the plots for five episodes, and provides his thoughts. He doesn't mention an episode I recall, where Bear visits a girl in some sort of urban environment (Brittany of Bronx, maybe?), eats oatmeal with her, and hula-hoops with her, though. His email is below, and I might consider contacting him to see if he still has the episodes saved to somewhere, although I wouldn't cross my fingers, given that it was written almost eleven years ago.
