Finally. I've tried posting my finds to Reddit, a Wordpress website, and a Minecraft server's forums with no luck. Now I realize that this is the perfect place to show off my finds!
Anyways... About a year ago, while trying to search for abandoned Nick.com webpages, I stumbled upon one in a mysterious subdomain, sg.turbonick.nick.com. After looking a bit more, I realized this was probably a giant archive of old Nick webpages. It was very surprising! After a lot more Google searches, I found three other similar subdomains with the exact same content, totaling up to four subdomains full of old Nick.com archives (Note: All of them had the exact same content, though):
sg.turbonick.nick.com
kr.turbonick.nick.com
it.turbonick.nick.com
ca.turbonick.nick.com
When entering these websites, you'll probably notice that the layout is the 2007-2009 website layout, but with the background, sidebar, and top bar nowhere to be seen. This theme is carried thoughout pretty much all of the archives.
I went looking if these subdomains had any old .swf files, and as a matter of fact, there is! Just search up ".swf" and reload the page. It seems that on Wayback Machine, it has captured a whole lot of archives inside the KR subdomain compared to the other domains (the others still have them, though).
Here are a whole bunch of pages I found (all under the SG subdomain):
The old games page!
A spoopy Halloween thing that let you build your own freaks of nature!
The old MyNick page! Try logging in with your old Nick account... you'll be surprised!
The old Podcasts page, with working downloads!
Probably the most non-broken page, aside from a whole lot of Flash errors!
An old Let's Just Play page that surprisingly has a lot of working links!
I have absolutely no idea... but hey! It works!
Nick's guide to staying safe on the web!
The place where you'd write to Nick! I wonder if it still works...
The old Message Boards, but most topics give errors!
It gets older than that!
A very functional Avatar: The Last Airbender homepage!
Broken renmants of the pre-2007 homepage!
And finally, the old emoticon key!
I hope you found this interesting. Feel free to join the hunt! Tell me if you found anything good!
