An episode of The Amazing World of Gumball, The News, was apparently first broadcast on CN Africa, but as an earlier version in which the character Kip Schlezinger was portrayed by a human as usual. It seems that all later broadcasts had Kip's scenes refilmed with a puppet instead, and the only remnant of the original version that I know of is this clip:
I don't suppose there are any recordings of the full episode floating around anywhere? It seems unlikely that the original will be broadcast again, as it wasn't supposed to have been in the first place.
According to the show's creator, nobody except him liked the live-action Kip, so I suppose they decided to change him when it came time for his first major role in an episode.

I don't know, it's interesting to see a normal dude in the show, especially when he's representing a real-life tv reporter.

I agree. Honestly I just pretend Elmore turned Kip into a puppet or something. Also, I'm totally on board to find this

Yeah, it's really weird, too, because Kip was featured in "the remote" episode outside of the show's credits. It's as if it's implying that he is a live broadcast from the real world, and yet they changed that for some reason.

No, I don't think he was broadcasting through dimensions. He lived in Elmore, but somehow the city turned him into a puppet, like the reverse of what happened to the Wattersons in "The Nuisance"

I did find a higher-quality (non-potato recorded) clip of the episode as aired in Latin America.
I don't think it's lost since it also aired in Latin America with the live action actor, and we have the live action scenes too. Here's a side by side comparison:
