Nothing there. I don't think its intended purpose is archival, so it makes sense.
I strongly feel like our best bet is a reupload or a reaction video rather than some obscure "deleted video finder". Earlier in the thread I posted two videos: one of which a possible reupload, and the other a confirmed reaction. The uploader of the reaction was found and is being contacted, but the uploader of the possible reupload is still unknown.
I'd suggest trying to track down the creator of that video through datasets or the Internet Archive. The possibility of other reuploads is also up in the air, so I'd recommend looking for similarly titled videos (also through datasets or the Internet Archive).
This is an extremely well researched thread. I appreciate you sharing the YouTube Crawl datasets, as this will help with some of my own research.
I'm not sure if this is of any help, (and I haven't been keeping up with the search, so I don't know if this has been reported already) but when I put the original "big star secret" URL into the YouTube Video Finder website (here: findyoutubevideo.thetechrobo.ca/), it states that it's available on GhostArchive. When you click on the link though, it keeps buffering until it eventually leads to a 404... so I'm not quite sure if it's any help.
GhostArchive sadly doesn't have the video. I once put the video's dead link into the website to search for it in there, but that caused the site to try to save the video, even though it's deleted, so it says that because of a mistake on my part. Sorry about that.
I heard that Jason has the video downloaded. I hope we find it.
If you're talking about Jason Scott, I can assure you he doesn't. A friend of mine contacted him a few years ago about some videos missing from the Google Video archive and he just referred us back to Archive Team in case anyone had any left over.
Anyone in Archive Team dedicated enough to scrape that many YouTube videos wouldn't leave them to rot.
They're talking about Jason Young, someone who actually may have had the video on an HDD. He blocked everyone while keeping the video because there were gore raids in the Big Star Secret Discord server. He thought we were the ones who did it.
I would be surprised but that same sort of thing happened in a community I was in. He not only had a game we were looking for but possible dev logs and dev versions and some guy found out and threatened to kill him
This is why in important searches people should forward any contacts to the actual professionals in the case like PLEASE
So I know that you don't want to reveal the Screamer Prank - FAIL uploader's name (which I understand 100%), but I'm curious; is the guy still active online? I'm asking this because I want to know how likely a response from the guy will be. I assume that you've seen their channel page, so without revealing their identity obviously, do they still actively post to their channel or have any recent online activity? (Screamer Prank - FAIL stayed up until at least 2017, so I'd have to guess maybe) If so, that's great because the likelihood of us seeing new actual Big Star Secret footage from that reaction video would be quite high in that case. Sorry if this question came off sounding weird or stalkerish btw.

The uploader is active, and has full access to their old channel. We're just waiting on a response now.

Niiice. Can't wait to get actual new footage of Big Star Secret after all this time
