There is quite a bit of lost media surrounding the band they Might be Giants. From the Coraline demos to lost dial a song,it's quite a list. Probably one of the most popular among the bands cult fanbase is a lost music video for the song Rabid Child off there self tilted first album. The video was made in a few hours in the gutarist's kitchen and was never released because he was diapointed in it. Only a few seconds have ever been publicly released as clips in a documentary about the band.
I'm unsure if the video (or any of the other lost media following the group) warents a page on the wiki so I figured this was a safe start.
I'm a HUGE TMBG fan, so I might admittedly be biased, but I've always been a bit baffled that the Rabid Child video DIDN'T have an article on the LMW. Granted, I'm not very active in the community here, but I'd absolutely say it warrants a page. In fact, a page for general lost TMBG material might be a good idea, since they do have a fair bit...
Incidentally, another interesting bit of lost TMBG stuff that I would LOVE to see found: a cover of Don't Worry, Kyoko by Yoko Ono that John Linnell and John Flansburgh, the two founding members of the band, made as teenagers (before TMBG was a thing). This wouldn't be too interesting were it not quite possibly the oldest musical recording the two made together. Flansburgh claimed to have a copy of the tape for that as recently as 1996 (which, granted, is not terribly recent, but the song was recorded at some point in the 1970s, so...), but said at the time that he and Linnell just weren't ready for it to see the light of day.
Actually, given that Flans often answers fan questions on Tumblr (tmbgareok.tumblr.com), it might be worth sending him a Tumblr ask? We shouldn't bombard him, obviously, but if y'all are interested I could absolutely ask him.
Sadly, I get the creeping feeling that if they didn't like the video they might have recorded over it or thrown it away.
I'd personally love to find more info about some of the unknown songs listed in the Melody, Fidelity and Quality liner notes. Even if we can't find any recordings of the songs it would be nice to at least know what they are. Tracking down the lost demo tapes would also be great, especially because they might have songs that were never released anywhere else. A setlist from their first concert would also be nice but I don't know if that qualifies as lost media per se.

yea ive herd about them not liking it, but i doubt they would throw it away.
ive also got some info on the Stewy The Dogboy from the list.
it was a planed ka-blam spin-off that was canceled for being to similar to Disney's teachers pet. apparently tmbg was going to do music for the theme song.
probably the weirdest tmbg lost media i can think of is a un-aied space ghost coast to cost interview with flansburg. they flew him down to atlanta but never had him on the show except for a second long clip.

ok, flans conformed it on tumblr
NOICE!
I wonder if there was a similar situation for Dragonfly TV, only that series actually made it to air, just with a non-TMBG intro.
