I think I found the reason why we aren't finding footage. I've noticed e've mostly asked people to look for recordings from Treehouse TV. Remember, though, it aired on YTV as well. I think we have a good chance at finding it if we ask people if they have YTV recordings from 1998 to 2000. Since I notice in terms of preseence on YouTube, there is tons of YTV content, yet with Treehouse TV, I am pretty much the only user who has uploaded recordings from those years. think that means more people kept their YTV recordings than they did of their Treehouse TV recordings. The reason for this is because since YTV "had" a more wide appeal back then, ranging from ages 2 to 17, Treehouse as always pretty much aimed at kids aged 2 to 6. Kids grew out of those shows more than they did of the YTV shows. It's possible someone has a tape of various YTV shows of the time and that got on it. Let's just hope. What do you guys think?
Do we know what months it was played? We could try narrowing it down to recordings with a certain schedule
Well, there are no CRTC logs for YTV from before February 2000. Even the ones from February to August 2000 are in the .arc file format. From looking at YTV logs, it seems to have aired once in September 5th, 2000 (which is my cousin's date of birth, as well as the day after it premiered on Treehouse TV, ironically) after "Wildlife", "Pumpr Pups" and "Plonsters", and once more on September 1st, 2002 after "Mona the Vampire". If we could crack open those YTV logs from February to August 2000, it might help us. I don't see it in this YTV guide from April 2000, web.archive.org/web/20000423055247/http://199.45.78.22/top.asp?section=ytv_guide&path=/ytv_guide/index.asp
But in this YTV Guide from May 2000, it is on there, twice every weekday. 10AM before "Kitty Cats" and "Nanalan'", and again at 1PM with different shows after it depending on the day - (Monday) The Crayon Box / Dawdle the Donkey / The Toothbrush Family - (Tuesday) Bedtime Stories/ Enchanted Lands / Happy Birthday, The Toothbrush Family - (Wednesday) Spider! / Kipper / he Crayon Box - (Thursday) The Adventures of Spot / Enchanted Lands / Bump / The Toothbrush Family - (Friday) The Wind in the Willows / Animal Stories
It had first premiered on YTV sometime in 1998 or 1999. It had moved to Treehouse TV by September 2000 (except after it aired its first Treeouse run, moved to YTV for one-time only, then started its second Treehouse run a year and a half later). Like I said, there are no YTV logs before February 2000.

But then again, an archived page of the show that one user found (I forget who it was) back earlier in the forum, said in April 2000 that it was currently airing at that point. So maybe it wasn't listed in the guide before, and was just added on a later revision. It was just an interstitial after all.
Yes it was very brief, only 5 minutes long. I remember it never having any bumpers or anything, it just kinda came on and I’d be like “Oh there’s Bookgirl!”
I also checked my Treehouse tape again just to be sure but no MSB sadly :/ It’s from December 2000
The only things on it were -Itsy Bitsy Time -Pumper Pups -Land O Hands -Bear in the Big Blue House -Pet Squad -I Can Do It -Teletubbies -Zaboomafoo -Ants In Your Pants -A couple Treetown skits
Then the whole tape gets everything above repeated again for some reason. The Beginning is taped over by an ABC airing of Toy Story and then an episode of Law and Order I believe so I’m not sure what aired before Itsy Bitsy that month. I will upload it eventually once I’m able to get the right equipment to do so.

I think it repeats because there is a film connected from the start to the end, so the end is connected with the start so basically the start starts playing.

That's a great-sounding tape. Will you ulpoad it to YoutUbe when you are able? I'm so excitred, especially for BITBBH, Pet Squad, Land O Hands, and I Can Do It.
Yes I will eventually upload it to YouTube once I’m able to get a VHS transfer. Fingers crossed MSB will show up soon. It was a deep memory of mine that I didn’t think would ever show up again but once everybody else started remembering it and that one image showed up I definitely had so much more hope

Fantastic! I hope the transfer goes well.

Hey everyone. Although it took a while due to working and other life priorities I managed to make a video on My Special Book. I based my video on information I got from this forum and even mentioned a few of you during the video. I basically just compiled what I felt was most of the important information and left out some of the more smaller things. The information is everything I could get before January 3rd 2019 so anything mentioned after that date is not included. I plan on making a update video if any big information (such as discovered footage) is discovered. here is the link to the video I hope it is up to your standards and if you have any problems with it feel free to address it here or in the comment section on the video.
