Hello. I doubt any of you know who I am, but I've been a bit of a fan of lost media searching for a while now. A while back, while looking for information an obscure show called Peppermint Park, I came across a bizarre Canadian Barney rip off simply known as Ricky's Room. Right away, you can easily see the show is extreamly low budget and of the "kids are morons" genre of Television. What makes this special to me is just how full of itself the show appears to be. They outright acknowledge the similarities to Barney, and what do they say? "Rhinos and dinos get along great together!" accompanied by a poorly drawn image depicting Barney as realistic while the other characters are normal. Not only that, but they make each and every thing about the show out to be something great or revolutionary, including their pointless catchphrase "Rhinoriffic!", despite the fact this appears to be some kind of investor video.
Finding all this hilarious, I tried to find more information on the show... and failed. The most I could find were some pictures of VHS tapes, as well as some reviews and parodies of the previously shown video, but not a single full episode or even a clip. Does anyone here have any recollection of this or know any ways to find it?
I just went to this page to try out the video player; if you click the play button, it takes you to (weirdly) an archived version of the video player, but it doesn't look like you can interact with the player itself.
I can see if there's a way for me to extract the video, though I doubt that.

Since CJON (NTV) aired the show, there is a chance they may still have the tapes on them. It's unlikely, as they stopped airing kids stuff around 2007, but it's worth a shot. I'll contact the station when I get time.
Also, unrelated, but my dad appeared on an old clown show that aired on the channel in the 70s. He even got a few small acting roles on some things produced by the network.
"oooh, you're a- a freaked out child in the woods..."

If the tape check turns up nothing, I'm gonna check some online cartoons website to see if it's out there on the internet (though I doubt that).
But I can still try to extract the videos from the Wayback Machine (if that's even possible)
This is also on Amazon, however, and it says there's three people selling a copy. How this show apparently has a DVD release, and two volumes of music (the AllMusic link says volume 2) is strange, but it must have done well enough to have such merchandising.
All the videos on rickysroom.com are actually archived in the code (the file names) but geeeeeee guess what? all the fricken archives of the .mov's LEAD YA TO THE FRICKEN DOMAIN THING.
I Finally Found A Location Where You Can Find Download Links To Ricky's Room And Download Them To archive.org! Here's The Site: www.first-loves.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=3075 Just Use eMule On Windows To Download The Files And You'll Have Episodes Of Ricky's Room In No Time! Enjoy!
