so, in one of my many, many, many nostalgia trips i came across.. this... www.radsheep.com/land.html i had totally forgotten this show EVER existed.. it is weird.. and bizzare.. so i probably blocked it lol.. its called land o hands a puppetry show that aired on tree house sometime in the 2000s, there isn't alot of info about it, but there is some random clips (most of them are of the same episode) according to rad sheep, the link i provided above, it looks like there is a full 50 4 minute episodes out there.. here are a few clips found on YouTube, as you can see in the comments section, the few ppl who do remember the show remember it being terrifying.. i can.. kind of see why.. lol its just all around odd...
happy Canada day! hope i tugged at your nostalgia strings lol;p
Yes would be cool to find it! soon as i seen it all the memories came flooding back lol i personally didnt find it disturbing either mostly weird but alot of ppl apperntly did lol
Yes, I remember this show. And I personally found it a little bit terrifying. Mostly that intro. Just something about that huge hand raising to the top of the screen was super unsettling. The rest of the show I found pretty trippy and odd. But it was something that had never been done before. I'll admit it was pretty good effects for its time.
This show started airing on Treehouse around 2000/2001, and I clearly remember it stop airing sometime around 2006. So it ran for quite a few years. All of the episodes were made in the years of 2000-2003 and then the reruns ran for a few more years after. You can find some vague information about the episodes of this show (All of the titles and the release dates of them). There were about 3 seasons of this show and these episodes were pretty short. Pretty much all of these episodes are completely lost, and only their titles and release dates can be found.
I believe this show ran on Treehouse TV in between bigger shows to fill up time during commercial breaks, as I said before the episodes were pretty short in duration. Land O' Hands ran along with other short shows like Max the Cat (Lost), My Special Book (Lost) and many other really short shows on Treehouse. Some lost and others can be found on YouTube.
So yeah, this show is pretty lost. There is some info on this show, but you have to dig pretty deep to find most of it. You can also find some people discussing this show. But footage-wise, 99.99% of the episodes are completely lost.
Yeah haha My Special Book. That show should be an entirely new thread in my opinion. It's completely lost and there's practically no info on it except the people trying to figure out what it was called. And there's only one picture of it. Max the Cat is lost too but at least it has a bit of info and the intro is on YouTube, just no actual episodes.

yeah man, my special book was trippy as shit lol i got hit with a truckload of childhood memories when i seen that picture lol i will write up a thread on it
This definitely looks like a strange show... then again a lot of older children's shows were strange, though I don't see how this is nightmare fuel, though one or two kids probably got scared by it.

The actual show was pretty weird. But that's not what scared most of the children who watched it. The intro is what frightened many children, that huge wrinkly hand slowly rising to the top of the screen. Imagine it being late at night and seeing that as a child.
How did I not notice this thread before? I've been trying to find episodes of this show for a long time now. Mostly because there was an episode that really terrified me as a child. The blonde kid becomes small, and when the baby notices him, he thinks he's a bug and calls his mom to come squash him. The mom then proceeds to chase the blonde kid. Before the mom could get her hands on him, it cuts back to reality where everything is fine. I really want to see that episode again.
