From what I understood at the time. The 'grey' levels were military bunkers, and the '1982's The Pitfalls' style levels were the rest of the planet. In the latter, there was usually a blue background on the surface, and there were also floating islands like in Jame Camerone's Avatar (still in the Atari style). Get there using anti-gravity, activated by a mechanism on the map. You had to be careful not to fall into space because of the anti-gravity.
It's so frustrating that no one has found a single clue yet. Even after 4 months since I posted on the lostmediawiki forum, still nothing.
Maybe it is on CoolMathGames or other popular flash gaming websitess because its sounds like one?
This site you're talking about is nothing like anything I've ever seen before. Even less so when I was playing the game, because of course a website evolves. But it's still a good lead. Even if I'd already looked in the flash sites I already knew.
Nice try, but no. Because the characters in my game had no faces. And they were all (including the bats) like matchsticks. There was no flesh, least of all the protagonist and the bats. In vvvvvv, the characters are all ultra-fat in comparison.
_alexpine_ on discord. 2018 was HOW many years ago?!?! 2 correct unidentified/lost media solves out of my probably hundreds of bad guesses isn't THAT bad of a track record, right?
