Yes, but honestly a lot of it won't be a great loss. Though if it were to happen it could usher in a golden age for this wiki

He cut his trail of tears across the countryside And where he went, women wept and men died One night he woke from a vision of his own death Saddled his pony and rode her deep into the West
With, like, six new streaming platforms popping up per year, I fully expect this to happen sooner or later. Like the dot-com bubble and subsequent crash of 2000, the streaming bubble is stretching thin. Seriously, every movie studio and most TV channels have their own streaming platform now. Some have already shut down (CNN+) and others have been heavily rebranded (HBO Max, now just Max). And 3/4 of them are just named "<insert company here>+," which I'm sure confuses less-than-intelligent people. Plus (ugh) the plus sign is typically either ignored by search engines or assigned a special function. (like "must also include"), so they have to make sure you don't just get results about the company in general when you search for their platform.

A lot of that is irrelevant to these shows being preserved.

Half of the threads on this forum (and some of the most fascinating searches) are about things like TV commercials and YouTube Poops.
No matter how insignificant a piece of media seems, it has value if even one person is sentimental for it, which will inherently happen as the youth who grew up with it grow older.
Streaming is crumbling under the weight of infinite poor decisions from all the major companies and we should do what we can to archive as much as possible while there's still time. I don't expect everything to suddenly get shut down in one day or anything but at the rate it's going shows can start suddenly disappearing for no good reason at any moment, no matter how popular. As always animation is especially at risk given these companies blantant disrespect of the medium. If we don't increase our efforts to preserve what we have access to now we may not have a lot of it a decade from now. The best official method is via DVDs but sadly only a small amount of streaming programming ever recieves them. In addition all of netflix's interactive shows are directly linked to their servers and the only way to recreate the experience is to go through and compile every single choice and scene which would have it's own difficulties. And that's not even getting into the stuff that gets cancelled during or even sometimes after production mostly due to corperate greed especially from WB. Every time I watch a new streaming original I am worried about it's future, not just in the chance of cancellation but the fear that it one day may be lost.

We should be doing this regardless of if it's at risk or not. Proactive preservation is something we should be promoting more of.

Well some shows that are not a Netflix original will stay found. But the ones that are originals, those will be lost forever (unless someone finds them).

I fullheartedly agree. If we only focus on what's currently known to be at risk we could potentially be unprepared if something goes missing without warning.
If this Netflix/Streaming Service Apocalypse were to ever happen, Having a preservation project similar to the BlueMaxima's Flashpoint would be a nice and convenient way into preserving this media
