A question about the strikes impact on lost media

no it's no joke, there'd be plenty of interest in that film if it were to come out:

Dude, you know happened if a movie featuring a Disney star doing naughty stuff. I'm just saying that if Boogie Town gets released, that means Disney loses another star.

Brenda Song hasn't done anything Disney related in ages so they won't be "losing" her per se, I think the film looks interesting personally, at the very least it looks like it'll be an entertaining failure.

That's an animated series though so it'll be less jarring as kids typically don't pay attention to who voices who in animated shows. Also she wasn't worried about it back then why would she be worried about it now? that makes no sense, besides she already did the M-rated video game "The Quarry"(which does feature nudity) so that ship already sailed at this point, her career wasn't damaged by that so it certainly won't be damaged by this film, that's just silly.

Plus she's already done voice-work for Robot Chicken which isn't exactly family-friendly fare.


Oh yeah and she was also in the TV-MA rated Hulu series "Dollface" which looks WAY more explicit then Boogie Town. Bottom line is she shed her Disney-girl image LONG ago even though she still technically works for them.


Also doing nudity does not preclude one from doing work for Disney, Tia Carrere pointed out in an interview that despite her having done Playboy Disney didn't have a problem hiring her to voice Nani.
